Objective:
The Paradigm Select Fund seeks to outperform its benchmark Russell 2500 Index while minimizing volatility.
Investment Philosophy:
The Paradigm Select Fund holds 60-70 equities, roughly equally weighted at purchase. Names are typically trimmed at 2% to rebalance. The portfolio is composed of 80% reliable, consistent cash generators that are often too dull to attract much attention from Wall Street, and 20% more speculative names that we think have the potential for significant outperformance.
Investment Process:
Portfolio Managers Jonathan Vyorst and Jason Ronovech and their team of analysts use a ranking system to evaluate the universe of capitalization-appropriate equities based on a series of criteria. These rankings are weighted using our proprietary system to generate a shortlist of potentially attractive opportunities, which then receive intensive qualitative scrutiny.
